Help Harry Help Others

Harry Moseley’s battle with cancer is finished but not the cause he championed. Harry fought cancer the best way he knew how…with his own strength of will. Harry died a little over a week ago due to complications from an inoperable brain tumor but Harry had passion and a dream. He made beaded bracelets and sold them to people. All the money he made went to Cancer Research, U.K., the cause he believed in.

I was blessed to be asked to join a project with a number of other writers championing Harry’s cause. Each of these published authors contributed an essay or article sharing some truth or bit of knowledge we’d gleaned on the way to becoming writers. Along with our essays we contributed excerpts from our books. My friend, Bonnie Hoffmaster was the organizing force behind the project and my friend Kendra Egert created the lovely cover.

The book is available at Amazon for 99 cents. Most of those reading this ménage romance author’s blog probably own an e-reader, smartphone or tablet of some kind. If you haven’t done so already, would you take a moment and download your copy of Author Moments right now. All of the proceeds from this e-book go to further Harry Moseley’s cause, Cancer Research, U.K. You can make a difference.

To Harry’s mum and family, all I can send are my heartfelt prayers and wishes for comfort and security in the knowledge that their young son made a difference in a lot of people’s lives.

Thank you, Susie. The great thing about the Author Moments e-book is that through it we can still give Harry victory by continuing in the pursuit of his cause. *hugs SusieJ back*:)

Wonderful post, Heather. Harry was truly an amazing young man - the world definitely lost a bright light when he passed - BUT he left us an incredible example, and I can never again sit back and do NOTHING. This little boy made a DIFFERENCE and truly lived his life. In one of his vlogs, he said he hoped to inspire people to do more for charity, even if its for different charities - but that it makes a huge difference to the people who are ill. What a wise and caring kid. I'm just devastated that he's gone, and my heart goes out to his Mum and family. His life and death will not be in vain, though - Cancer Research UK has SO FAR received close to the equivalent of $1,000,000.00 thanks to Harry. Yes, that's the correct number of zeroes.
I miss you, Harry Moseley :0(

Holy Moley, Bonnie! That is amazing! One little boys efforts and the efforts of those who acte in his behalf. Awesome. And it needs to be said again that I appreciate you organizing the effort that brought Author Moments about. Thank you for your caring, giving, comassionate heart <3
